Episode Soundbite – Figliuzzi says Excellence is much more than performance based

Besides 25 years of service with the FBI—where he led high-level and delicate espionage operations and other extremely vital departments—education is a core value for Figliuzzi. He earned a Juris Doctorate cum laude from the University of Connecticut School of Law, and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English Literature from Fairfield University. He has also completed certificate programs at the Harvard University National Security Program for Senior Executives in Government at the John F. Kennedy School of Government, and at Northwestern University’s executive course on Leading Strategic Change at the Kellogg School of Management.

Now, he appears on television and speaks on a wide variety of issues, with Excellence and strong core values always front and center. He also is at the ready to share the 7 c’s from his book that can help all of us on what he calls our “paths to Excellence” … those 7 cs are: code, conservancy, clarity, consequences, compassion, credibility, and consistency.
